Jethro Tull - 40 years on!

by iangec @ Wednesday, 14. May, 2008 - 22:05:03

Went to the Jethro Tull Concert in Perth last week...absolutely fantastic....apart from the camera police...no pictures allowed so only the memories of the sights and sounds in my head.....god forbid you wanted to take a 30second video to remember the occasion!

As they lived their lives so they will pass on together.

by iangec @ Friday, 01. Feb, 2008 - 22:03:44

To those of you who read this my Aunt died last weekend and I heard today my Uncle passed away last night so there will be a double funeral - just as they lived their lives so they will go together to the pearly gates and I think that is just how it should be really.

Metcheck has gone awol

by iangec @ Tuesday, 29. Jan, 2008 - 18:08:50

Metcheck has finally cracked under the pressure and stopped doing anything other than allowing you to check the weather - you can't even put a weather report in. Is all this because there is a risk of snow at the end of the week and people keep checking.....None of the interactive services are available because the site is so busy...well unless you fork out £49 pounds for the premium package.

So for any forum chums out there be patient - Looks like Jim was right

Well I just haven't got round to it recently

by iangec @ Monday, 28. Jan, 2008 - 10:29:42

It's been ages since I have last taken the time to write anything on here......with last years happenings I kind of didn't really have anything to add.

I heard yesterday that my Aunty Pam died - she was amazing woman....about 5', thin but a real farmers wife. She brought up a family and once they left she looked after her husband, who is still alive, as he has rheumatism and can hardly move. A woman whose stature exceeded her diminutive size in bucketfuls. She will be greatly missed by her family and the community in which she lived. She will be a handy person to have in heaven.

I also had to go to my friends fathers funeral in Aberdeen recently.

This has not been a good start to the year.
