We have a guest staying with us for two weeks in the shape of Libby the black labrador - 4 years old and still a bouncy puppy. She was rejected by the guide dog trainers as being too full of fun and nonsense and she is much the same now and still tries to find any water, however small and muddy 
Walking the dogs through the field at the end of the loch (and yes I did pick up) at 22:00 last night and the bats were out in force whizzing around catching the beasties and flying within a couple of feet of us - D was with me walking Mac - causing the odd ducking moment.
Since the last blog we have been awy for a few days to Centre Parcs at Penrith - just soooooo relaxing - and had a week doing bits and bobs and now at the end of my first week back at work - which has gone from good to bad to good but whop knows what will happen today.
Beautiful day today in Edinburgh - about 2 clouds in the sky.....
